IBM Auto Mechanic services and repairs rigid trucks, prime movers and heavy trailers at 21-23 Trawalla Ave, Thomastown. Fixing the cause, not the symptom

A truck that eats steer tyres or pulls to one side is not always a steering job. We check axle alignment and axle position before replacing parts, because a bent or shifted axle will keep wearing new tyres no matter what else is replaced. See truck wheel alignment and axle correction.

Booking so the truck is not sitting

• Drop off from 6am, Monday to Saturday. Early drop-off means diagnosis before the parts suppliers open.
• Tell us the symptom and the vehicle when you book so parts can be ordered ahead.
• Book the roadworthy, the alignment or the wash into the same visit.
• Fleets: one contact, scheduled slots, one invoice.

Price and turnaround

Every repair is quoted before we start. Diagnosis is charged as a set inspection and quoted with the repair. Same-day turnaround is usual for servicing and common repairs when the truck is in early and parts are on hand.
