This policy explains what IBM Auto Mechanic (21-23 Trawalla Ave, Thomastown VIC 3074) collects through this website and how it is used. It is written to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Booking and enquiry forms: your name, phone number, vehicle type, what you need, when you need it, and any registration number or message you choose to give us.
- Phone calls from the website: when you tap a phone number on the site, Google Ads and Google Analytics may record that a call was placed from the site. Calls from advertising may be routed through a Google forwarding number, which records the call time and duration. Calls are not recorded.
- Website analytics: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads set cookies to measure visits, calls and form submissions. Where consent is required, non-essential cookies are not set until you accept them.
How we use it
- To contact you about the booking or enquiry you sent
- To measure which advertising and pages lead to bookings
- To keep a record of the enquiry in case the email is not delivered
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for marketing lists.
Who it is shared with
Form submissions are emailed to the workshop and stored on the website’s server, which is hosted in Australia by SiteGround. Analytics and advertising data is processed by Google under its own privacy terms. No other third party receives your details.
How long we keep it
Booking requests are kept for as long as needed to complete the job and for our business records, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
